CyberQUEST Home

The CyberQUEST project aims to broaden cyber-activities in middle school classrooms through teacher development and expertise in knowledge and use of cyberinfrastructure (CI) in geosciences learning experiences for students. The project will develop and refine curriculum units, referred to as TechQuest Lessons, to provide technology (Tech) supported inquiries and investigations of concepts (Quests). Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) students at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) will work with education, geosciences, and computing experts to develop resources that leverage existing CI-investments and provide customized access. The project will nurture a cadre of Lead Teachers who will teach other teachers during CyberQUEST workshops,  within California (Riverside, Los Angeles and Sacramento) as well as in Arizona.
